Lindsay Lohan’s neighbors are thrilled that the actress has moved out of their Venice Beach neighborhood, reports say.

“Everyone is ecstatic that she moved,” one resident tells Radar Online. “Goodbye to her and all her drama.Since she moved here it’s been a complete circus with a revolving door of friends in and out of her house and paparazzi camped out permanently. Everyone was so sick of her.”

Another neighbor was even less sympathetic to the star, who has had legal troubles for years.

“Seriously, every time we heard a siren we hoped and prayed it was the police carting her off again and we would be left in peace,” the neighbor said. “It was a nightmare when she was here … [Samantha Ronson] has lived here for ages and she’s never been any drama, she’s very low key and just goes about her business, butLohan was like a hurricane, or some other natural disaster tearing through the neighborhood.”

Lohan reportedlymoved out of her Venice Beach condo because of security concerns.She is said to be staying in a room at the Chateau Marmont. According to Radar, Lohan is staying in the room for free, courtesy of an artist friend who rented it but rarely uses it. Standard rooms in the iconic hotel go for $435 a night.

“This is a temporary situation for Lindsay right now,” a source tells the site. “Lindsay’s teamis currently looking for a new residence in the area that would offer her more security, perhaps a house in a gated community or a condo.”

Lindsay Lohan says there’s NO TRUTH to reports she was boozing at a SAG Awards after party this weekend … and now, TMZ has learned, she’s threatening to SUE the media outlets that published the story in the first place.

A source close to the actress tells TMZ … Lindsay is already exploring her legal options with her attorneys … because she feels the false stories are sabotaging her effort to save her career.

Lindsay acknowledges she WAS at the party at the Chateau Marmot hotel in Hollywood Sunday night … but insists she was sitting with Alan Cummings the whole time and ONLY drank water.

We’re told Lindsay’s also pissed over reports about a recent gas station makeout session with Dennis Hopper’s son Henry (pictured above), where she allegedly purchased Red Bull and vodka.

Sources close to LiLo tell us the actress is adamant the two are just friends … NEVER MADE OUT … and the only items she bought were soda, chips, and cigarettes.

Lindsay Lohan and her siblings are being harassed by Britney Spears’ ex-manager, Sam Lutfi, according to a source close to the situation, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

Lutfi was Spears’ controversial former manager at the height of her epic public meltdown when she lost custody of her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James to her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. Spears was twice committed to a hospital involuntarily while Lutfi was a major player in her life. Brit’s dad, Jamie Spears, got conservatorship of her and obtained a restraining order prohibiting Lutfi from having any contact with her.

Numerous text messages and emails have been sent from Lutfi to LiLo and her siblings in recent weeks.

“Sam is desperate to be in Lindsay’s life and is telling anyone that will listen that he is helping with the actresses’ comeback. This is absolutely false. Lindsay has a team in place consisting of an agent, manager and publicist. She doesn’t want nor need Lutfi in any capacity. Sam has been texting and emailing Lindsay’s siblings as well. Lindsay and her sister and brothers aren’t responding to any communication from Sam,” a source close to the situation tells us.Lindsay’s dad, Michael Lohan, is acquaintances with Lutfi. In 2010, Papa Lohan told us that, “I don’t know what his deal is, but I told him, ‘Don’t you ever text my daughter again.” Michael also said that Sam had texted Lindsay’s older brother, Michael Jr., stating that “Dina was doing the wrong thing.”

Negotiations are in the final stages for Lindsay to star in a Lifetime television movie about the late iconic actress Elizabeth Taylor and her Playboy magazine cover earned record sales. “Lindsay is telling her siblings to just ignore the texts and emails. They are considering changing their phone numbers,” the insider says.

Sam’s former roommate, Samuel Barth, and his family were forced to get restraining orders against him as well. Barth claimed Lutfi hacked into his Twitter and Facebook accounts, stalked and harassed him, his friends and family, and even tried to give his minor daughter a cell phone.

Lindsay’s rep Steve Honig told us, “Lindsay has never spoken to Sam Lutfi, period.”

Calls seeking comment to Lutfi weren’t immediately returned.

Even when Lindsay Lohan is staying out of trouble, trouble seems to find her.

A lawsuit was filed against the starlet today by a woman who claims Lohan hit her while driving through what used to be Lohan’s West Hollywood neighborhood.

Roughly 17 months ago, for the record.

“To the best of my knowledge, neither Lindsay nor her attorneys have been served with a lawsuit,” rep Steven Honig tells E! News. “So we really can’t comment on something that hasn’t been served through the proper channels.”

But, he added, “People like to do this—give lawsuits to the media before they serve it to Lindsay.”

Well, in the lawsuit obtained by E! News, plaintiff Nubia Del Carmen Plaza charges that Lohan was driving a rented Maserati GranTurismo when she ran into her at the intersection of Alta Loma Road and Holloway Drive in WeHo while Plaza was crossing the street.

Plaza is demanding unspecified damages to cover “serious personal injuries, pain, suffering and anguish”; past and future medical expenses; and loss of wages and future earning potential due to her inability to perform her usual occupation.

Black & White Car Rental is also named as a defendant. A case management conference is scheduled for May 14 at 8:30 a.m.

Canada could stand in the way of Lindsay Lohan playing Elizabeth Taylor.

Though reports have circulated that LiLo will star as Liz herself in a new Lifetime biopic, it all depends on Stephen Harper — and her probation officer.

Filming on “Liz and Dick” (get your mind out of the gutter! It’s about Taylor’s romance with Richard Burton!) is set to start in the spring. That may be enough time for Lohan to complete her court requirements, but not her probation, which ends in 2014. Unless the 25-year-old “Mean Girls” star getsapproval from her probation officer, she can’t leave California during that time.

The other problem?If you are convicted of driving under the influence outside Canada (just like LiLo was), the government considers you “criminally inadmissible” to enter the country.

The only way to get around that is by getting special permission from the government.

“She would apply with the consulate, which would allow the Canadian government to allow her entry prior to the period of deemed rehabilitation, which they consider to be five years following the conclusion of probation,” criminal lawyer Troy Slaten told E! Online.

But even if Harper decides to give Lohan a chance, she still has to beat Megan Fox for the role of ol’ violet eyes. According to Radar it’s a done deal, but we’ve heard that one before.

Lindsay Lohan just got a rave review from Judge Stephanie Sautner during her probation progress report hearing this morning– after completing all of her required community service on time … so far.

Judge Sautner gushed that Lindsay’s probation officer had written a glowing probation report. Sautner added,”Keep doing what you’re doing. You appear to be doing very well.”

Lindsay is due back in court on February 22nd, by which date she is required to complete 15 additional days of community service at the morgue and 5 more therapy sessions.

If Lindsay stays on track — like she’s been doing –her probation will end on March 29th.

Lindsay Lohan has a brand new $93,000 problem — because the federal government claims the actress never paid her 2009 income tax … and now Uncle Sam is finally out to collect.

According to official documents filed in Los Angeles, the Internal Revenue Service has obtained a lien against Lohan for $93,701.57 for failure to pay her federal income tax.

2009 wasn’t a very lucrative year for Lohan … she only released one crappy made-for-TV movie, coupled with a few minor TV appearances.

Now, if Lohan refuses to pay the debt … the government can go after anything that belongs to her … including homes, cars and bank accounts … assuming she has any of those things.

We called Lohan for comment — so far, no response.

Lindsay Lohan could go from posing as Marilyn Monroe in Playboy to playing Elizabeth Taylor for Lifetime.

The actress is in early talks to play the big-screen icon in a television movie for the female-skewing cable network, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The project is not a new one and has been in development at Lifetime since last May. Independent producer Larry Thompson, who previously worked with the cabler on its 2010 telepic Amish Grace, is overseeing the project.

Lohan, a former child model turned actress (and singer), has — like Taylor — seen her fair share of career highs and lows. Since debuting in Disney’s 1998 remake of The Parent Trap, Lohan starred in features including Freaky Friday, Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded.

More recently, Lohan in November was sentenced to jail time due to a violation of her probation. The actress, who failed to attend court-ordered therapy sessions, was also kicked out of the Downtown Women’s Center, where she had been assigned to complete community service hours, after arriving late. Lohan ended up spending less than five hours in jail on Nov. 7 due to overcrowding.

Lohan, a longtime fan of Monroe, posed for the January/February issue of Playboy, for which she reportedly received $1 million.

Rest easy, everyone; Lindsay Lohan is not returning to her partying ways.

At least not in Dubai on New Year’s Eve.

Despite earlier reports that the actress/recent Playboy cover model would be ringing in 2012 at a star-studded gala aboard the ocean liner QE2 in the United Arab Emirates city, Lohan’s spokesperson says she won’t be in attendance.

“At no point was Lindsay ever considering going to Dubai for New Year’s Eve,” the actress’ representative told TheWrap.

Rumors that the “Mean Girls” star would be welcoming 2012 in Dubai began to swirl after reports emerged that Lohan would participate in a party on the QE2 — currently docked at Dubai’s Port Rashid Cruise Terminal — that would also be attended by former “Baywatch” babe Pamela Anderson and British cricket player Allan Lamb. (Anderson’s representative also says that it’s untrue that she won’t be attending the Dubai bash; she’ll be spending New Year’s in Las Vegas, for an appearance that’s been booked for more than six weeks.)

Lohan is so angry about the party rumors that her attorneys are preparing to issue a cease-and-desist order to the organizers of the party, TMZ reports. (Lohan’s representative declined to comment on any potential legal actions on the actress’ part.)

Earlier this week, TMZ reported that the actress, who in the past has reportedly raked in big paydays for attending parties, had shot down a number of offers to attend New Year’s Eve soirees in light of her recent legal woes.

Lohan is currently working through a regimen of community service and therapy sessions, after violating her probation stemming from a DUI arrest. During a progress hearing earlier this month, Judge Stephanie Sautner praised the actress’ efforts, telling her, “Miss Lohan, you have actually done your work.”

Lindsay Lohan, spotted on the streets of New York Wednesday, didn’t need to be “nervous” about herPlayboy spread, as she tweeted on Saturday.

People have definitely gone out and picked up a copy, as she had hoped. Hugh Hefner said it was breaking sales records and now MagazineRadar, an ad sales information services confirms that claim.

The January/February 2012 issue sold 55% more ad pages than the same issue the year before and, with just over 49 ad pages, Lilo is now the second best ad-selling Playboy model in recent years.

Who’s No. 1? The queen of ad-driven nudity is none other than Kim Kardashian, whose December 2007 cover sold 56.9 ad pages.

Many fathers might be horrified to see their daughter posing naked in a men’s magazine.

But Michael Lohan isn’t most dads and he says he’s happy 25-year-old daughter Lindsay stripped off for the January issue of Playboymagazine because he “heard it’s classy.”

In an episode of Dr. Drew Pinsky’sLifechangers TV show, airing December 28, the troubled elder Lohan said he thinks Lindsay made the right choice posing nude.

“If she’s happy with it, I’m happy with it,” he said.

“I haven’t seen it and I never look at it, any of it,” he claimed before a large naked image of his daughter was flashed up on the screen in front of him. “There she is. Do I have to close my eyes?”

“It’s a move in a direction where she’s working… so as far as I’m concerned it’s a good move.”

Lindsay’s Marilyn Monroe style shoot brought in some good sales figures for Hugh Hefner’s publication.

Michael added that his often uneasy relationship with Lindsay was “getting a lot better. She’s on a great path,” he insisted. “I’ve been in touch with her.”

Michael’s own path however isn’t so great as he’s currently undertaking a domestic violence program as part of his probation terms for assaulting ex-girlfriend Kate Major during a fight in Florida last October.
